On this day, September 15th, we are thrilled to celebrate our anniversary and reflect on the incredible journey we've shared with you. One year ago, we officially launched Over a Drink coffee, a dream born from a passion for exceptional Kenyan coffee, a dedication to community, and a commitment to a better, more sustainable future.
Our Journey So Far: Milestones & Memories
What began as a curation of a community over a drink in July 2023, evolved into something more. In January 2024, we decided to focus on the world of specialty coffee, and on September 15th, 2024, we officially launched our coffee.
It all began with our very first coffee, a truly special and memorable bean from Kirinyaga by Ngacha Coffee Estate. We extend our deepest gratitude to Ngacha Coffee Estate for being the first to partner with us and for setting the bar for the quality we've come to represent. It was the perfect start to our adventure.
In the past year, we've had the honor of bringing you other amazing single-origin coffees from producers like Kahira-ini factory, Waihiga Coffee Estate and Kihuro Coffee Estate. We've introduced you to unique processing methods and shared the stories behind every cup.
Beyond the beans, we've watched our community grow, both online and in person. Our monthly cupping experiences have become a cherished space for new and old friends to connect, learn, and share their love for coffee. We are truly humbled by the enthusiasm and passion you bring to every event.

Looking Ahead
This is just the beginning. As we look to the future, our vision is to continue growing our community and expanding our business. We plan to introduce more unique Kenyan origins, host more cupping sessions, and continue to tell the inspiring stories of the people behind your coffee.
Our ultimate dream is to one day open a physical space—a cafe, roastery, and cupping lab—that serves as a true hub for our community.
